Wings & Wheels

Where the sky meets the road! Free admission and fun for the whole family!  Hang out at the flight line and grab a bite from some of the regions delicious food vendors! Fan of vintage hot rods? New sportscars? There’s something for every gearhead on the lot at Wings & Wheels. Don’t forget your blinker fluid! Bombers, jets, single-engine fighters, and biplanes new and old occupy the tarmac. Watch pilots of all kinds fly off and land on the strip! Come listen to the sounds of Double Agent with Kathie Martin from Noon until 4 pm!

Frederica Day

Come join us for a day of fun for all ages. There will be vendors including Felton Ice Cream trailer and The Tidal Market vendors, bouncy houses, carnival games, food trucks, K-9 Demonstration and much more. The parade starts at 10 a.m. There will be Keep it Spinning DJ playing music all day with a live band "The Left Overs" playing at 4:00 PM. Easy Speak will be here with their Alcohauler!

Boast the Coast

Conceived in 1996, Boast the Coast showcases Lewes’ nautical heritage and features activities that complement the University of Delaware’s annual Coast Day event held the first Sunday in October. This year’s Boast the Coast activities are sponsored by Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant and Beebe Healthcare, with partial funding from Southern Delaware Tourism. A number of free Boast the Coast activities will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in 1812 Park near the city dock on the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal. Freedom Boat Club will offer free boat tours leaving the city dock from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. These short excursions on the canal will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis with six to eight passengers per trip; no advance reservations are needed.

Delaware Beer Fest

Join us at the picturesque Figure-8 Barn! Guests are invited to sample beer from local breweries and national brands. In addition to the great tasting beer/wine/spirits selection, guests will enjoy live music and browse among local artisans. Scrumptious food will be available from local restaurants and food trucks. Challenge your friends to a game of giant Jenga, Beer Fest trivia, Photo booth fun or play a round of corn hole. Fall Craft Fair

The public is invited to celebrate the work of talented artisans and enjoy live music, and delectable treats. There is an admission fee of $5 for adults, and children 12 and under are free. Plan to spend the day and enjoy the festive atmosphere of our main campus where our historic buildings will be open to the public. The complex is filled with shade trees and gardens, providing a beautiful setting for your visit.

Greyhounds Reach the Beach

Greyhounds Reach the Beach is an event for greyhound and sight hound owners, held every Columbus Day weekend in the ocean communities of Dewey Beach and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The event creates awareness of the need for foster and adoptive homes for retired racing greyhounds, raises funds to support greyhound adoption and brings owners/adopters together to celebrate their hounds.

The Fast and the Furriest 5K

Join us on for a morning of fitness, furry friends, and raising funds to support our lifesaving animal services.
